A Message From the High Key (Vol 871, Iss 28)

Greetings.Welcome, Locks of all ranks and locations. It is time for your weekly update. Open wide.

It is almost impossible to believe that it is very nearly June. Of course, we all must believe it, for the Gregorian measurement of time tells us it is so, and The Order of the Grand Lock would never invent a system of time that would lie to you. (My nephew just taught me the phrase “Sub-Tweeting.” It’s when you want to passive aggressively talk about someone on social media without directly indicating to them that you are doing so. As an example, I just Sub-Tweeted the awful concept of Daylight Savings Time.)

In this week’s issue, we take a look backwards with some Grand Lock history from the 1980s as we look at our Order’s very brief foray into personal computing. What a different world we live in now where I can Sub-Tweet and stay current with Popular Culture with the click of a mouse! See you later, Felicia!
