A Message From the High Key (Vol 871, Iss 41)

Greetings.
Good afternoon Locks,
Because the emails have not ceased let me begin by addressing the subject line of last week’s Locksmith Newsletter.

Ques. Why did last week’s subject line begin with “Subject Line?”
Ans. Right. That was a copy and paste error, plain and simple. It was most assuredly not any of the following:

  • A coded message
  • An ironic comment on subject lines
  • Part of the subject line

Ques. But, if one runs the phrase “Subject Line” through the 1935 Grand Lock code it decodes as “Winner Take A.” Are we to believe this is a coincidence?
Ans. Yes. And the fact that you had to go back through nearly 100 years worth of codebooks to arrive at a phrase that almost is makes sense should serve as evidence of that point. Please only use to most current Grand Lock keycode to decode any messages through the autokey cipher. Thank you.

NOW. Let us move on to what we believe to be INTENTIONAL coded messages sprinkled by Grand Locks working within the grand machine known as Star Wars. Enjoy, and please stop emailing me about the “Subject Line” typo.

In Fellowship,
High Key (No.00103)
