With summer now over, officially, I have been asked to remind you that the outdoor Grand Lock pools found East of the Mason/Dixon at our Lodges will be closed for the season effective this Saturday. After that point, please do not attempt to break into the pools, no matter how drunk you are. Remember: Just because we are above some laws, that doesn’t mean we are above our own.

This week, we rejoin Barb’s Corner for a look at what’s going on at sleepy Lodge 129. It’s good to remind ourselves every once and a while what it’s like to live in a part of the country where folks don’t get so deep in their cups that they can’t remember pools are not an “Autumn Thing.”
