Some business first: If you live in the Northeast United States, Leadership has dictated that you may wear the thicker post-Actual New Years’ robes to the lodge effective this week if you are looking for warmer togs.

With this in mind, please remember that Actual New Years’ Eve falls on January 12th. We anticipate that this celebration will be even bigger than 2017’s and certainly bigger than the non-Locks’ 2018 whimper.

Speaking of cosmic events, this week our resident historian takes a look back at the moon landing and The Grand Lock’s impact on this monumental achievement of mankind’s. (Spoiler alert: We totally nailed it.)
