A Message from the High Key (Vol 872, Iss 44)

Greetings.

Good Day, Locks:
It is now officially Autumn. Soon, the leaves will begin to change, Hallowe’en costumes will be selected, and pumpkin seeds will be roasted and immediately discarded.

Should you decide to number Apple Picking amongst your Fall Activities, please remember to submit your Apple Picking Forms at least three weeks prior to your proposed Picking Date for Processing. Do not neglect to include the proposed yield, rounding up to include any “gross apples” that are picked and then tossed to the ground.

And congratulations to those who filled out their Cider Requisition Forms in the 3rd quarter of 2015! Your forms are nearly processed and it is increasingly looking as though this will be your year to enjoy the tart flavor of apple liquid!

This week we look back a full twenty years at a moment from Recent History that will surely be taught in all Grand Lock history books for eons to come: the great Deep Impact vs. Armageddon rivalry of 1998!
