A Message from the High Key (Vol 872, Iss 47)

Greetings.

Friends,
Have you ever had a dream? Perhaps one that seemed impossible? Too beautiful to hold? So wonderful- I just remembered the poem “Harlem” by Langston Hughes and I am completely ripping that off, but less eloquently. I’m going to get to it.

The mashed potato bar and centerpiece I had wanted to bring you for this year’s Actual New Years’ potluck will not be happening. Apparently “potatoes can’t be sculpted into an eagle” and “there’s no good way to suspend a potato eagle grasping a giant lock from it’s talons” without compromising the integrity of the sculpture.”

Perhaps technology will catch up with my visions next year. Now please enjoy this update from the World of Entertainment.

In Fellowship,
High Key (No.00103)
