A Message from the High Key (Vol 872, Iss 50)

Greetings.

Good afternoon to you All,
In your Email Window where you write the Email Address, there’s a “To” section. I’ve got a handle on that. Below that there are a pair of acronyms that up until now have been useless gibberish to me. Well, today they are gibberish no longer, so I feel it is my duty to explain them to you, in case that you too have been stumbling in the Electronic Mail Darkness.

CC stands for “copious counterparts” and allows you to send multiple iterations of your mail to multiple recipients (like how the boys send this newsletter!)

BCC stands for “bearded copious counterparts.” In this case, your emails will be sent to many people, but the list of recipients will be “bearded” or “unrecognizable.”

Ingenious! I doubt I’ll use either of these features ever as I’m more of a “make my secretary send a letter” kind of person, but it’s good to never stop learning.

In Fellowship,
High Key (No.00103)
