The Year in Review

Greetings.
Good day to all Grand Locks of All Ages,

As 2017 draws to close with the celebration of Actual New Years on January 13th, we look back at the Best of the Locksmith Newsletter from the year.

It was a year of transition for The Order as we move on to the administration of our new Leadership, Spangles. After an unhinged screed from our former Leadership, the outcry from members was too great and the Leadership Campaign brought order to the disorder. Thank you, Spangles, for seeing us through! You’re a great boy!

This year’s Horse Day was a smashing success, as always. So many indelible memories were made.

We offered our readers a look at the reader-favorite comic strips from our sister publication, The Daily Key.

Our correspondent Barb had a year of highs and lows, having an unfortunate run-in with nature and in her local grocery store, but always taking away one of life’s great lessons from it all.

Ideally, with each issue of The Locksmith, we hope that our readers learn a little something about our Majestic Order. Whether it be about how we funded the production of The Wizard of Oz, the very specific etiquette rules we are required to follow, the healing powers of vitamins, or ourintricate United States Shadow Government.

As 2018 looms it’s infant head nearer and nearer with its sights set on its relative 2017, we are thankful for you, dear readers. We hope 2018 brings with it stability, and many great things for The Order of the Grand Lock.

In Fellowship,
High Key (No.00103)
